MinnAqua Fishing Clinic Comes to Cloquet Public Library

Interested in who lives underneath the water? Fascinated by the critters that scoot so easily over the surface of a pond? Enjoy fishing for one of Minnesota’s many game fish? Come join MinnAqua Intern Ethan Cooper for an exciting event of exploring Minnesota’s aquatic resources at the Cloquet Public Library on Fri., August 10. Two back-to-back sessions are planned free of charge and open to the public: Kindergarten through second graders: 1:00-2:30 p.m. Fish Tales & Fish Senses Third through sixth graders: 3:00-4:30 p.m. Fish Tales & Fish Senses Explore the underwater habitat, learn about water stewardship, understand the need for regulations and increase your fishing skills. Discover who’s who in the underwater world and how you can help take care of them. Also receive a MinnAqua starter tackle box. This is a 4-compartment, clear plastic box with a hook, bobber, weight and jig/rubber body. For more information, call the Library at 879-1531.
