"Game Day" Proves Welcome Activity

Eighteen participants of all ages made our first Game Day a smashing success on July 23. XBox Kinect was the centerpiece in our large meeting room, and representatives of every age (from young child to a grandmother) tried out this physically interactive media. At tables nearby, young mothers quietly played card games with children, while chess and checkers, Monopoly Night Sky, and Scrabble were offered in the adjacent small conference room. Popcorn (generously provided by Premier Theaters in Cloquet) and punch were a welcome attraction on a hot day. If you missed out, you'll have another chance to take part next month. Check the library's website and blog, or watch for flyers posted in the library for the date and time.
