Playing with paper at the Library

Creativity Tank will present “Playing with Paper” at 10 a.m., Sat., Jan. 15, at the Cloquet Public Library. The program is free of charge and open to the public.

Children will learn the basics of papermaking, recycling paper into pulp to create sculptural ornaments and papers. On newly made paper, participants will “paint” with pulp. When dry, these beautiful art papers can be hung, written upon, or turned into journals or stationery.

Pre-registration by January 7 is a must. Parents are welcome. Dress for wet. The program will run for a minimum of 90 minutes. To pre-register or for more information, call 879-1531.

Creativity Tank is a Minnesota-based organization providing creative programming for children. This project is funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
