Children's book illustrator at Library

Henry Cole, the talented illustrator of more than 40 books for children, will present a program at 4 p.m., Mon., April 19, at the Cloquet Public Library.

The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Cole’s impressive list of books includes the New York Times bestselling The Leprechaun's Gold by Pamela Duncan Edwards, the nationally bestselling Little Bo by Julie Andrews, and many picture books written by himself, including On Meadow Street. A Nest for Celeste, a new book, is his first novel.

Cole is the illustrator for the Library’s summer’s reading program theme, “Make a Splash.”

This project is funded with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008, which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota’s arts and cultural heritage. For more information, call 879-1531.
